Icon Meme from LB-Lee

lb_lee picked:
I never actually use this icon, so I should replace it. It's various images from Batman #153, so it's the original version of Kathy Kane's Batwoman and her niece Betty Kane as Bat-girl. This was in the middle of the era where weird aliens were showing up all the time. And since it's the 60s all women want to pin down a man and all men won't admit they like the women.
I'm working on organizing all my ebooks and pirated comics so I can keep track of what I've actually read. I like making icons from them, even though they're not especially popular. I've got a batch to go up from the original Brave and the Bold (Silent Knight! Viking Prince! Golden Gladiator!) and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, based on the excellent cartoon. Although apparently I need to repost all of the icons I've made, since they've disappeared because of Photobuckets' jerkasity.
I have no idea where I got this one, but it's accurate. If you can't read the tiny script, it says "If fandom has taught me nothing else, it has taught me that EVERYTHING was a hotbed of mad sex." Yeah. So it's good for any sort of slashy, shippy fandom stuff. Which I don't do a lot of anymore, but whatever.
This is from the Judge Dredd story in 2000ad #18. Doesn't the poor head look so sad? It was my defaul icon until just a few minutes ago because it's so cute. This is a "brainbloom" which is illegal in MegaCity 1 because of what it eats (which is never stated, but it's probably people or something). They sing and can hypnotize people. 2000 AD is full of weird stories, which I love, especially the one-shots like this one.
