Should I make this community?

silvercat17If I were to make a community dedicated to actually writing/editing/making stuff (rather than just talking or thinking about it), would anybody join?
I went a couple of Shut Up and Write meetups and they were great, but I'm not very productive out of my comfort zone, so I didn't get a lot done. I'm thinking of a community where I have weekly events where people check-in with what they're doing, write or whatever, share how it's going, but don't chat a lot. And then share posts of the finished product if they want.
How's that sound to people?
