Post by Email testing

This is a test to see what posting looks like in a more detailed way. You can see how to set post options here https://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/emailpost?mode=help&type=headers. You can use either HTML or markdown https://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=271. Markdown is the default - you have to set it in the headers (the post options linked above) if you want to use HTML.

I'm not sure what else to say. This is bold and this is italic. Apparently with markdown you can also just use html as well. Here's an image linked in markdown

I've been kind of alternating between a single line break and a double line break to see which one works the way I want (a single blank line between paragraphs). This is a single line break

This is a double. That's about all I can think of. Let's see how this looks.

You can use either HTML or markdown. Markdown is the default - you have to set it in the headers (the post options linked above) if you want to use HTML.

So I think you really only need to switch it to HTML if you want super refined control. (I turned off markdown in the previous comment and it was a pain to get it formatted correctly. I had to take out the HTML img link)

If it's already html, you might as well as tell it to post as html so DW doesn't try to auto-format it
