Oh my gosh! How wonderful!

I've never had anyone create art for one of my stories and this is such a treat.

The attention to detail is really what makes this art extra special.

I LOVE the hair on both of them, especially the slightly darker blonde roots on Nikita and the tiny curling of Michael's hair. His longer hair was legendary and you certainly captured that.

And oh look! Is that stubble? Yes it is! Again, the attention to detail is top notch. It's subtle, but it's there.

And lastly, can I just say that I really love the gestures that they have with their hands. There's a tenderness to them. It looks so natural and there's an elegance there as well. It's just so lovely.

Thank you so much for the time you put into this art. I remember that my story was the last one claimed and I appreciate you putting yourself out there for a fandom that you were only loosely familiar with.

I used an old romantic postcard for the pose and lighting (except they had clothes on...) and I really wanted to get the characters right so I found SO MANY references so I could get their features the right shape and their hair and skin the right colors. I actually ended cutting the eyes out of two to get the colors right even though the detail is lost at this size.

I may be a wee bit of a perfectionist :)
