  • March: Meet-Ugly Fest (dendriteblues). The idea here is to do the opposite of the romcom standard "meet cute" where the two romantic leads meet up in some adorable, cute, funny, charming way. Instead, have your characters meet in a horrible, unfortunate, unflattering, and often times violent way. And still like each other.
  • April: School Days Bingo Fest (ysabetwordsmith). Celebrate all kinds of schools and other education.
  • May: Tarot Fest (fadedwings). This fest focuses on themes from tarot cards.
  • June: (4th) Cottoncandy Bingo Fest (ysabetwordsmith) Fluff! Fluff everywhere!
  • July: (6th) Winterfest in July (spiralicious & vexed_wench). Come celebrate your favorite winter holidays… in summer!
  • August: End of Summer Bingo (spiralicious). Write about the passing season.
  • September: Arts and Crafts Festival (ysabetwordsmith). Celebrate your favorite arts and crafts.

Clarify worldbuilding at four different levels: the world itself, the (or a) culture in which your story takes place, the dynamics of a group within your story (possibly the protagonists or antagonists), and an individual character (possibly your main character or primary antagonist).

  • March: March is Pi(e) Month (vexed_wench)
  • April: APRIL FOOL'S Bingo! (dialecticdreamer). This will feature pranks, jokes, lighthearted pieces... and themes involving changing cultural expectations
  • May: May Wellness Toolbox Bingo (dreamwriters). May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but for the sake of being a little more upbeat and positive, I'm making May's bingo card a Wellness Toolbox.
  • June: Wedding| Honeymoon | Divorce Bingo (vexed_wench). This month we will be celebrating all things wedding.
  • July: (2nd) WinterFest in July (vexed_wench)
  • August: As You Like It (dialecticdreamer) There is a general public card for this month, created with the bingo card generator, but the point of this month's theme is to do what YOU want. Any five prompts, in any location on the card, will work.
  • September: Tones and Voices Fest (dialecticdreamer). Try your hand at a new tone, mood, or perspective in your writing or other creativity.

  • February: Bingo Valentines (ysabetwordsmith). This bingo fest focuses on love and relationships, both romantic and platonic.

  • April: Spring and Autumn Fanworks Fest (elizabeth_rice). This bingo fest celebrates the seasons of Spring (Northern hemisphere) and Autumn (Southern hemisphere) by encouraging creation of other fanworks like poetry, podfics (especially of poems), art, meta, vids, etc.
  • May: Solo Celebration Bingo (vexed_wench). In celebration of National Masturbation Month, this bingo fest promotes healthy enjoyment of one's own body with erotic works. The public card will be asexual/aromantic friendly with prompts for solo rather thanpartner activities.
  • June: Deja Vu Bingo (ysabetwordsmith). Unlike other bingo fests, this one focuses on things you have already  created.
  • July: Christmas in July (vexed_wench). Celebrate all the December holidays when we have time to do them.
  • August: Birthday Bingo (dialecticdreamer). Everyone has one, but not everyone has the same reaction to the day, or the same kind of memories.
  • September: Hurt/Comfort meta fest (ysabetwordsmith). Write meta for hurt/comfort tropes
  • October: Horror Remix Fest. Choose fanworks from a collection of remix-friendly sources, and create a remix with a horror/supernatural theme.
  • November: Science Bingo Fest (dialecticdreamer). The goal is to use scientific discoveries or news to inspire creative work.
